Fostering a growth mindset in mathematics: Inspiring intern stories that add up

by | Jun 1, 2023 | Schools News, News

We all have a maths story. Our experiences with maths as a subject are usually either positive… or overwhelmingly negative.

We asked three of our interns to share their perspectives on and experience with Mathematics. They delved into some inspirational food for thought, exploring the influence and impact that parents and teachers can have on their relationship with Maths, the importance of independent learning, the power of peer learning, and the impact of sharing your Maths story. They also share insightful perspectives on the role of textbooks, and what defines a good textbook. These videos demonstrate our interns’ deep understanding of mathematics education, and their commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and growth mindset
