Have questions?
Why are Oxford Resources for Cambridge no longer endorsed by Cambridge?
In 2015 Oxford University Press partnered with AQA to develop a new awarding body Oxford International AQA Examinations (OxfordAQA) to provide schools with more choice when considering examination partners. In response, Cambridge no longer endorses our Cambridge resources, as they feel OxfordAQA is a direct competitor.
Benefits of OxfordAQA and the Oxford International Curriculum
Can schools still use Oxford Resources for Cambridge even though Oxford is not endorsed?
The clear answer is YES
You can be confident that Oxford Resources for Cambridge completely support the latest syllabuses and the Cambridge pedagogy. To meet the syllabus requirements, four key areas are considered: content, pedagogy, focus and international. We ensure that our resources maintain and exceed these standards.
Furthermore, the Cambridge guide to endorsed resources states:
There is no requirement from Cambridge International that schools should use a particular endorsed resource, or indeed any commercially published resources.
In addition to full syllabus support, Oxford Resources for Cambridge also offer:
Lower Secondary resources that focus on IGCSE preparation, as well as Checkpoint
Thorough exam preparation support and revision guidance
