Oxford University Press participated in the Peninsula School Feeding Association’s (PSFA) 57th annual Blisters for Bread Charity Family Fun Walk on Sunday, 31 August 2025, at the Green Point Sports Ground in Cape Town.
By purchasing 100 tickets, we helped PSFA provide 2 000 nutritious meals to hungry school children – each ticket feeding 20 children for a day. OUP staff joined over 10 000 Capetonians for a scenic walk along the Sea Point Promenade, standing together in solidarity and commitment to ending childhood hunger.
PSFA aims to raise awareness of childhood hunger and funds to provide nutritious meals to impoverished children at schools across the Western Cape.
The day was filled with energy, laughter, and purpose. It wasn’t just about getting our steps in; it was about stepping up to say no to childhood hunger!
