Walking together for a future where no child learns on an empty stomach
Did you know that 3 out of 4 children in the Western Cape go to school hungry every day?
As part of our commitment to helping address childhood hunger, Oxford sponsored 100 tickets for staff and their families to participate in this year’s 58th Blisters for Bread Charity Fun Walk. Through this contribution, the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) will be able to provide 2,300 nutritious meals to vulnerable school children to combat childhood hunger across the province.

On Sunday, 16 August 2026, our team joined more than 10,000 Capetonians who walked in solidarity to raise awareness and support for ending childhood hunger.
We are proud to stand alongside an organisation that is changing lives because as an educational publisher, we know that meaningful learning can only happen when children are nourished and ready to engage.
