Wellness day at Oxford University Press

by | Oct 16, 2023 | Careers

On 7 March 2024, our quarterly wellness day centered around the theme “Rest, Recharge, Reset.”

With this theme in mind and a holistic approach, various activities were planned. From stress management topic-talk and a yoga class to virtual-reality massages and a silent-disco, employees were able to select their preference of what it means to unwind.

Then finally, in the spirit of building a diverse community and friendly competition, the teams came together for a ‘bring & share’ centered around their chosen colour, dressing both the table and themselves in the same colour.

In today’s fast-paced work environment, we often forget to reflect on the ways in which we could focus on our well-being. When we view it as an investment rather than a chore, we enable ourselves to being more productive, creative, and resilient. It is a habit worth cultivating because when we thrive, our work does too.
