Regional Director East Africa

John oversees operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Before his current role, he had an extensive career in publishing, starting at Macmillan Kenya as an editor. He also worked as an editorial consultant for the United Nations, the World Bank and other organisations, and later, he served as CEO at Phoenix Publishers Ltd. John has also written many newspaper articles on publishing, education, and literature. He enjoys reading, bowling, biking and spending time with his family (especially taking photos to capture memories!)
