OUP has truly been a place where I have been able to thrive and develop both personally and professionally.
I began my journey with OUP in February 2023, as a Data Analytics Intern. As a young adult entering the corporate world, I was warmly welcomed and received invaluable guidance. My manager played a crucial role in helping me acquire essential skills, such as advanced Excel and applying statistical analysis to real business scenarios. One of the most impactful experiences during this role was participating in the Intern Think Tank project, where our solutions to a business problem were enthusiastically adopted and implemented the following year.
After completing my initial internship, OUP expressed their interest in retaining me and subsequently offered me a second internship as a Sales Enablement Intern.
This opportunity allowed me to further expand my skillset as we worked on various projects. Shortly thereafter, I transitioned from Sales to the Tech and Ops department to assist the production team with managing imports inventory.
Having demonstrated my fit within the team, I was offered a permanent position as an Inventory Administrator. I am excited to continue learning and growing as we leverage the power of analytical systems and tools, as well as AI, to improve our processes.
